*Dramatization. Linda isn’t a real person; she’s AI-generated. If you resemble this photo, we’re sorry. Let us help.
Every business has a Linda. Maybe it’s you.
She knows where everything is. So everyone asks her. That’s the problem. Here’s what Linda would hand us tomorrow:
- The “ask Linda” questions. Before: “Where’s the vendor form?” Linda answers the same question for the ninth time this week. After: How things get done gets written down, so the new hire asks the page instead of her.
- The double typing. Before: One job, typed into the quoting tool, the calendar and the invoice. Linda’s wrists have opinions. After: The systems get connected so it’s entered once and shows up everywhere.
- The shared drive. Before: Folders inside folders, “final_v3_REAL,” and a search bar that finds nothing. Linda finds it by memory. After: The drive gets rebuilt so anyone can find the file without asking her.
- The inbox pile. Before: Every request lands on Linda’s desk, and half of them are missing the one detail she needs. After: An AI assistant sorts them and chases the missing bits before they reach her.
- The customer scatter. Before: The phone number is in Linda’s phone, the last order in a spreadsheet, the complaint in an email. After: Every customer goes in one place, where anyone can look them up.
- The paper. Before: Years of files in boxes, and only Linda knows which box. After: They get scanned, indexed and searchable, so an old contract is a search, not an afternoon.
- The audit or tax scramble. Before: The accountant asks for last year’s receipts and Linda cancels her weekend. After: Records get kept so they can be pulled in minutes, with Linda’s weekend intact.
- The supply room. Before: The door nobody opens on purpose. Linda knows the toner is behind the holiday decorations. After: Sorted and labeled, so anyone can restock without a guided tour.
- The backslide. Before: It got tidy once. Then everyone came back, and so did the pile. After: Someone checks in and resets things before it turns back into Linda’s problem.
- The office move. Before: New office, a wall of boxes, and everyone asking Linda where their chair went. After: Packed, labeled, set up and working on day one. Linda gets to just show up.
How we work. It starts with a conversation.
- Step 1
Tell us what’s in the way.
A first conversation about what’s piling up and what you want to improve.
- Step 2
Agree the scope and price.
A straightforward quote, in plain words, before any work starts.
- Step 3
We do the work together.
Organizing, technical setup and a handoff your team can keep up.
- Step 4
Keep it together.
Optional ongoing support for the parts that need looking after.
Get It Together, AI.
Tired of useless AI? So are we. Most of it gets bolted onto a mess, handed over with a login and left there. We start at the other end: the information, the people and who answers for it.
- The data
Garbage in, confident garbage out.
Done badly: a chatbot plugged into a shared drive nobody trusts, answering from “final_v3_REAL.”
Done right: we get your information in order first. AI is only as good as what goes into it.
- Boots on the ground
We show up in person.
Done badly: a vendor who has never seen your office sells you a demo and a login.
Done right: we work in your office, sort the paper, files and workflow, then build around how your team really works.
- Human in the loop
AI drafts. A person decides.
Done badly: “set it and forget it,” an agent that sends, approves and deletes with nobody watching.
Done right: assistants draft. A person on your team reviews and sends.
- Accountability
Someone’s name is on it.
Done badly: when it goes wrong it’s “the AI’s fault,” and the contractor has moved on.
Done right: every system has a named person responsible, access only to what it needs, a record someone actually checks, and an off switch.
- The limits
AI can’t do everything.
Done badly: “It’ll replace your whole team.” It won’t, and it shouldn’t try.
Done right: some jobs should stay human. And sometimes the real fix is getting your files in order, not AI. We’ll say so before we build.
