AI for your industry

AI for Dental and Medical Offices. 6 assistants worth a look.

The phone rings while someone is checking in. Another caller needs directions and a supplier needs an answer. These ideas are for the administrative side only. Clinical questions, symptoms, treatment and care decisions belong with your clinical team.

6 ideas for an AI assistant for the front desk and admin side of a dental or medical office, each built around one task. These are ideas, not products on a shelf. Every card says what to organize first and who checks the work. Innovation Theory builds the assistant. Get It Together, Denver gets the records and procedures in shape first, in your office.

Dental and medical offices

6 assistant ideas.

  • A good first pilot2 of 6
  • ORGANIZE FIRST2 of 6
  • CAREFUL REVIEW2 of 6

Each one says what to organize first and who checks the work.

Give one task a job title.

Each card wears a tag. A good first pilot is a small, bounded idea worth a conversation once the records and a reviewer exist. ORGANIZE FIRST means those two things come first. CAREFUL REVIEW means the work is sensitive and needs extra checks. We have not seen your office, so none of this is an assessment of it.

Where to start

Start with the public stuff. Opening hours, directions and the administrative answers you have already approved. Yes, we work with patient data, with HIPAA-compliant data handling. With Innovation Theory, we help you set up HIPAA-ready AI workflows. A private server in your office strips patient identifiers before any AI sees a record, and we sign Business Associate Agreements with you and every AI vendor involved. Every practice is different, so talk to us before anything with a patient’s name goes near a system. The practice approves the access, the privacy handling and a qualified reviewer. No clinical advice, full stop.

How patient information moves.

This is the path a patient record takes when an assistant helps with it.

  1. It arrives in your office. A message or record comes in. It stays on a private server Innovation Theory sets up in your office.
  2. The identifiers come out. On that server, names, record numbers, rooms, phone numbers and emails are taken out. Codes go in their place.
  3. The AI gets the coded version. The AI works only with the coded record.
  4. A person checks the draft. Someone on your staff reviews what the AI drafted before anyone uses it.
  5. Names go back in at your office. Only your authorized staff put names back, and only on that office server. The key that links the codes to patients stays locked there.

Every practice handles this differently, so we go through it with you before anything is switched on.

A useful first conversation

Bring one made-up example. Leave patient details out. We will talk through which records it needs, who would check it, and whether a written procedure would do the job without any AI at all.

Outside Denver and the surrounding communities? Innovation Theory is where the technical conversation starts. The on-site organizing from Get It Together, Denver is a local thing.
